About Lynnette
A Career Built on
Negotiation and Alignment
As a Texas mediator, I bring professional training, genuine compassion, and practical problem-solving skills to every mediation. I believe that most families want the same thing: resolution without destroying relationships. My job is to help you get there.
Mediation is not just about settling disputes. It's about clarifying interests, restoring communication, and helping people reach durable agreements they can stand behind. Whether you're struggling with decisions about an aging parent's care, navigating inheritance disputes between siblings, or dealing with other civil disagreements, the stress can feel overwhelming. My approach isn't about winning or losing. It's about creating space for honest conversation, helping each person feel heard, and building solutions that work for everyone involved.
Long before becoming a mediator, my professional life centered on complex negotiations and stakeholder alignment. In municipal government, I negotiated contracts between cities and private businesses, balancing public accountability with commercial realities. Under my guidance, one city achieved a 94% compliance rate with its downtown revitalization goals — a result made possible through strategic negotiation, collaborative problem-solving, and consistent stakeholder engagement.
I have also negotiated international agreements between museums for the exchange of aerospace exhibits and historic artifacts, requiring careful cross-cultural communication, detailed contract work, and coordination across multicultural communities.
Prior to work in municipal government I negotiated contracts and mediated disputes between doctors, hospitals, and special interest groups, entertainers and venues, and resolving high-pressure contractual disagreements where reputations and finances were at stake.
